"Winter buds"

This is a series of works, each with its own name. Although the number is limited, we will finally be resuming sales of vases bearing the name of Tetsuaki Nakao starting this year.

 "Winter buds"
 This vase, depicting the winter galaxy, is adorned with large crystals that fall like snow. The soft blue background highlights the whiteness of the winter galaxy crystals. Although the length of the neck and the curvature of the shoulders differ slightly, this rounded shape, which is also found in his representative work "Distant Chang'an," embodies the ceramic artist Tetsuaki Nakao's wish for cultural coexistence.

 "Distant Chang'an"

 The former Western Roman Empire and the Han and Tang dynasties of China were periods of cultural coexistence.
 This work was created by reinterpreting a bottle, which is said to have been introduced from the West long ago, as a symbol of peace for the modern age.
 Chang'an: A capital city where different cultures blend together, transcending differences in ethnicity, religion, and language.
 Reflecting on the peaceful times of the past, and hoping for creative rebirth in the present.
